Usage: The label is a free-form value to help you manage which asteroid you are or plan to mine, I generally use the distance from my ship. The Asteroid Ore is the type of asteroid you are mining. The Ore Count is the quantity as reported by the survey scaner. The Laser Yield as provided by right clicking on your mining laser and looking at its information (while in space and fleeted if any.) Remember, skills of the squad commander or better may give you a higher yield than normal. The Laser Duration is also reported from your laser's information screen, and again ships and fleets can modify this value.

The start button starts the mining tracking and copies the values displayed to a read-only display. You can then plan your next asteroid. The button will turn into a Stop button to abort the mining. When completed, the Stop button will turn into a Clear button to stop the red blinking.
